About

About

My creative journey started when I was young in Maine, designing houses in the woods to help fairies. Now, I'm designing products in NYC to help people.

In college, I studied Computer Science, English (ask me about reciting the Canterbury Tales in Middle English), and was a scholar in an Arts & Tech certificate program. My multidisciplinary interests, passion for problem solving, and drive to help others led me to UX.

‍

Post-grad, I joined Rapid7’s growth strategy UX rotational program and landed a full-time Web UX Engineer role afterwards. On every coding project, I found myself obsessing over the "Why?" - and while I liked building solutions, I loved the process of designing solutions. After being impacted by layoffs, I took time to reflect on who I am and what I value, and all signs pointed back to UX and product design.

Currently, I'm a lead designer at Chase, where I've worked on a broad range of design efforts: platform design, design systems and libraries, and now AI design.

Other things that feel important to share: I love baking NYT’s Gochujang cookie recipe, I always pick up heads-up pennies off the ground, I won "most dependable" in high school, I was in an adult ballet recital despite being an atrocious dancer (it was awesome), and I love to meet new people. Let's connect!
